At Haram Exports, we take immense pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our premium equestrian gear and leather goods. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, if for any reason you are not entirely happy with your order, this comprehensive Refund and Return Policy outlines your options, the eligibility criteria, and the exact steps to process a return or exchange.
1. Standard Return Window
Our return policy lasts for 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have gone by since your item was delivered, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. We encourage all customers to inspect their items thoroughly immediately upon receipt.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be strictly unused and in the exact same condition that you received it. Because we deal in premium leather and equestrian products, the following strict conditions apply:
- Saddles & Tack: Must not show any signs of being girthed, ridden in, or placed on a horse. There must be no sweat, hair, dirt, or stretch marks on the leather.
- Original Packaging: The item must be returned in its original packaging, including all tags, protective covers, dust bags, and included paperwork.
- Proof of Purchase: We require a receipt, order confirmation email, or proof of purchase to complete your return.
Please do not send your purchase back to the shipping facility or warehouse without first contacting our support team for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
3. Non-Returnable Items
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. For hygiene, customization, and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded:
- Custom-made, bespoke, or personalized leather goods (including items with custom stamping or engraving).
- Gift cards and downloadable software/digital products.
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" at the time of purchase.
- Leather care products (oils, conditioners, soaps) that have been opened or unsealed.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
4. The Refund Process
Once your return is received and physically inspected by our quality control team in Kanpur, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the condition of the goods.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed immediately. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please note that it may take a certain amount of time for the funds to reflect in your account depending on your bank or credit card provider (typically 5 to 10 business days).
5. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet after receiving our confirmation email, please follow these steps:
- First, check your bank account again.
- Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
- If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at help.haramexports@gmail.com.
6. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged upon arrival, or if you received the wrong item due to an error on our part. We do not offer direct exchanges for different sizes or colors for international orders due to complex shipping logistics. If you need a different item, you will need to return the original item for a refund and place a new order.
If you need to report a defective or damaged item, please send us an email with clear photos of the defect at help.haramexports@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery.
7. Shipping Your Return
To return your product, you must first contact us via email to receive the specific return shipping address and instructions.
Shipping Costs: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Insurance & Tracking: Because equestrian gear (such as saddles) is of high value, you should consider using a trackable shipping service (like DHL or FedEx) or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
8. International Returns, Customs, and Duties
For our international customers outside of India, please note that any customs duties, taxes, or import fees paid at the time of delivery are non-refundable by Haram Exports. You may be able to claim these back from your local customs authority, but this is entirely your responsibility. Furthermore, any return shipping documents must be clearly marked as "Returned Goods" to avoid additional Indian import duties; failure to do so may result in the package being rejected or customs fees being deducted from your final refund.
